What is the difference between SIGMOD RECORD and SIGMOD?
Is RECORD a journal or sth? Is it at the same level as
SIGMOD conference and hard to get in?

yes, can be viewed as a journal. but much lower than sigmod
conference.

thanks, much lower would be much easier for me :)
How long does the review take usually? Half a year?
And how about the cost and page limit? I cannot
find any related info on the website... thank you!!

SIGMOD Record是SIGMOD的季刊，SIGMOD conference是SIGMOD的年会。
可以说它们serve不同的purpose，比较起来没有多大意义。SIGMOD record上的主体并非
研究文章，更多的是survey，会议报告，名人采访，研究机构介绍，重要文章回顾，书评
，等等。它实际上是这个community的一个杂志。
它上面的研究文章基本上没有SIGMOD conference significant,但另一方面，它一年四期
收的研究文章加起来也就那么几篇。
