Just came back from MIT Open this morning. It was such a wonderful competition
! The show dance from Michael and Joanna was awesome.
We got dog tired after all day of dance. My thigns are still sore now. In one
day, my partner and I experienced both the most excited and upset feelings...
We danced in both Standard and Latin prechamps. The only reason for us to do
latin prechamp is actually because our coaches don't know the close steps.

Congratulations! That's excellent result!
as for latin, I remember my partner told me before that MIT don't enforce the
syllabus at all, if you notice, they are competing in beginner/int/adv instead
of bronze/silver/gold as in syllabus.
and I am also confused by how mit is calculating their results
