Is it possible to control Job view/execution premissions at the SQL Server Agent Jobs level? If so, how do I do that?

Any reason you want to do that?

for security request I've looked it up and seems like there is no built-in way in SQL 2000. but in 2005 there are three SQL Job Agent roles with different levels of premissions.

Not familier with 2005. I am thinking, if you use the job to call DTS, SP, or other scripts, and your job role is lower than the object, your job will fail. So is it necessary for an additional security control?

requirement from the business units, to let some users view jobs without the ability to run/modify them may have to add some more Job roles manually
