My question is very 初级。
The customer already has their own data warehouse which I have no idea what it
is.
I have a question to ask me whether my database is easy for the customer to
access for their data warehouse purpose.
I feel this quesiton is quite weird, however, because I have no idea about
data warehouse,
I mean my database is just normal SQL database, why say easy to access or not.
I think anyone can access it via ODBC.
However, I have no idea whether there is any standard software for

Data warehousing means putting several databases from different business units
together. the primary concentration is historial data and summary information
that aims to help high level decision making. (Not for daily operations or
transaction processing like a usual database)
For example, your company may have sales department, inventory department and
some other departments that each department maintain different database in

Hi germo, are you familiar with data extraction process? how do you make sure
that only the updated data are extracted and loaded to the system? what if the
source database is not in your full control, like you can't add stuff like new
column or trigger? Thanks!
