Usually slight degrade is OK. 10x hardware and 8x performance is
very impressive. And for database, it's usually refering to entry.
You don't get a 10K items database 10x faster with 10x hardware.
But you could get a 100K items database equally effficient with 10x
hardware to a 10K items database.
