开发出来的东西用于商业用途就不行，如果是编写小工具的话，可以用SQL Server
Express Edition，it's free.

第一句话是错的.
开发出来的东西当然可以用于商业用途了, 否则developer edition是用来玩的??
那句话的意思是: Developer Edition的SQL server软件是不能用在production server
上的,而不是开发出来的东西不能用在production上

Sounds like you have never worked in the real industry...
Production server is the the machine that holds the released application and
provides the services for business.
For example, the server holds mitbbs for you to play. Although this time's
production release is a crap.

2 developer licenses will be used for 2 developer dbs, each one has only one.
Just like XP, no matter how many licenses you got, only one can use the OS
at one time.
That is what I think.
