Oracle现在各种size企业用的都有，Teradata好像只有global 500的企业才用吧。BoA,
EBay, Walmart之类的好像都是用Teradata.

data is distributed by hash_amp(primary index)
AMP -- > virtual processor
AMP only konws what it has, it does not know what resides on someone else's
Query plan usually goes like ->>
retrieve data --> rehash based on join key --> join locally on amp
