Work location: San Diego CA preferred. Could also be Irvine CA or Oakland CA.
Job Duties:
Research and identify problems, anticipate effects across business
communities, research best practice alternatives, prepare presentations,
drive solutions, test to confirm, gain consensus from a broad business
community, and implement customized solutions.
Conduct complex statistical analyses and complete studies of real estate
and mortgage related data.
Apply graph analysis, network analysis, machine learning and data mining
techniques to discover patterns from complex residential property data.
Make forecasts and predictions based on modeling and analysis of
multiple economic and human factors.

Job Requirements
Ph.D. degree (or equivalent industry work experience) in Economics,
Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Statistics,
Physics or related field.
At least 6 years’ industry or academic experience in machine learning
techniques, data mining, statistical modeling and/or pattern recognition
model building for clients on real world problems
Proficiency in relational database, network analysis, graph theory or
machine learning on networks.
Familiar with and comfortable working in a UNIX/Linux environment
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages:
Python, Java, SAS, R, C++
