Hi, I am a newbee for dot.net.
I am trying to add a web reference throught he wdsl file. But I couldn't get
the the auto generated reference.vb file. I can see the reference.map file.
When I try to update the webreference. I got the the following error
message:
The custom tool 'MSDiscoCodeGenerator' failed. Unable to import binding '
BindingName' from namespace 'http://NamespaceLocation'.
Additionally, I receive the following error message in the Error List window:
Error 1 Custom tool error: Unable to import WebService/Schema.
Unable to import binding 'BindingName' from namespace 'http://NamespaceLocation'. Unable to import operation 'OperationName'. The element 'ElementName' is missing.
The wsdl file is from this link. http://example.com/stockquote.wsdl. I have tried to install the service package but no luck. Could anybody help me out? Thanks a lot!
