Currently I’m facing a challenge project to replace our current in house
application with a 3rd party application to follow more industry standard.
To integrate with our other internal projects and information flow, we need
to call their API to feed data to their system and retrieve data out of it.
The company is Open Air, a professional services automation software. And
we are using pure Microsoft technology, .NET and SQL server.
Since I don’t have any experience on that? Can you give any advice or tell
me where to find good resource to study. Any idea on calling any general API
is helpful.

what exactly is their API? .Net has the ability to interop with native using
pinvoke or COM

The thing is that I don't know any information about their API is. Since I
don't have any experience on this. and I will do this along with my not-good
-enough programming skill, i am kind of nervous. so think maybe I should go
ahead study something beforehand.

那就看看 interop喽。
如果是com组件，可以interop，如果export了函数，可以用dllimport
