要在笔记本上装vs .net.
.net framework装不上, 说是regsvcs.exe出错.
用framework redistributable则说enterpriseservices.dll没法register.
googlele半天没答案.
俺的机器是inspiron4100, pIII-M 1G, 320M. Windows XP home, update是天天做.
哪位大老给点拨一下? 谢谢.

但是我在desktop dimension 4550, XP home上就没有问题啊.

Are you sure your desktop is running XP Home....
unless M$ changed its policy...you cannot install those components on XP
Home...
that I am sure :)

两年前买的机器，原来是home，update几次，变成了media center。
显然不是pro。

哈哈。
我不会不知道自己的机器吧。不然我把当年的发票和最新的boot screen照片贴上来？
至于微软吹什么从pro基础上延伸出MCE，无非就是想比home多卖几个铜版而已。
你不会不知道网上有可以把home convert成pro或MCE的工具吧。

这不是我的财产，理论上它还属于以前学校的实验室，是前老板借我用。
我不想找麻烦。

I havenot used those things yet, well, the standard edition remote desktop
stuff (terminal service?) can support multiple session, if I login remotely
twice with same user name, it would create anotehr session, which I can
choose to log off later or just keep it there... that's kind of neat...
but outlook2003 is definitely slower than outlook2000...

可以使用remote的pro/server机器啊。为什么一定要装在本地？
说起来vs.net2003 remote着用也不错啊。

en...you should have at least 1GB of memory :)
we are migrating to 64-bit version of Windows 2003 here...some of them have
more than 16 GB of memory :-P

不是人人都明白道理啊。
前老板非要本地安装，他以前待我不薄，只好花点时间了。
不过我已经跟他有言在先，实在不行用你说的办法。

I only have 1.5G of memory, dual xenon 2.4G processor, so it's still 32bit
version...

I have 2G memory but still can't load all of the data in it(We are using
application cache in the middle tier).Have to set the virtual memory to 1000%.

just terminal into my other machine, so far it's okay, just using query analyzer,
a little VB6.0 is through vnc, which is slow and painful, but that's not much.
