We got RFE letters today and they requated copy of birth certificate. I have
several questions and hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!
1) I think the lawyer had submiited copy of 出生公证 (国内1997年做的公证)
while he submitted my I485. Should we send the original version along with
the copies? Not sure why they requested them again.
2) In the request letter, it says "include a copy of this letter and place
the attached gold sheet on top of your documents". I don't know what's the
attached gold sheet.

最近RFE要这个的很多，看多数人就是把原来的copy一遍寄回去。

Thanks a lot!
Anyone has experience on my 2nd question? What do we need to send out (the
copy of the REF letter, which is just one page and that's the only thing I
recieved in the mail), birth certificate? Just not sure what's "the attached
gold sheet".

According to waht they siad, there is one piece of gold sheet in the mail
too. Double check it!

Thanks! That's what I thought. However there's no 'gold sheet'. I only
received one piece of paper requesting the documents.

Is the envelope gold? I guess you have to call CIS to verify it.

Thanks all for your suggestion. Just called the attorney. They received the
"gold sheet" in the mail. The attorney will resend the birth certification
for us. Looks like the attorney should submit RFE if he/she submitted 485
previously.
