485 pending， 有EAD 和 AP 但是从来没有用过，目前OPT EAD 快过期了，但是可以延
长17个月，不想用 485-EAD， 请问能够尝试去延期OPT-EAD 的17个月，有人尝试过吗

I had a similar situation previously. I have OPT but needs STEM extension to
continue to work (h1b lottery losers), meanwhile, I need to submit 140 to
keep my PERM valid. My lawyer said there is a TINY chance that my OPT
extension might be rejected due to 140 submission and I will lose status. I
cannot have that risk so I gave up my PERM.
The problem for you is I-765, you need to specify your last EAD, which is
your 485 EAD. With that information, you probably won't be approved for OPT
EAD. But anyway, the worst case is you got denied, lose $400 bucks and that'

在OPT extension表格上，只要填先前的12个月的OPT EAD 还有卡的复印件，
因为485 EAD，没有用过，就不打算indicate 了，
不知道这样是否可以。
