on campus两周后骚扰department chair回信说是one of top candidates让我再等等
觉得这个说法有点奇怪，top candidate应该只有一个吧。。。应该是list里面排名比
较靠前的备胎吧
大家觉得呢？

材料发给公司律师三个星期了，律师还没有完成job description,请问正常吗？
懂的人说说job description一般要多久律师能弄完

这个难道不是应该自己写么？律师不会比你自己和你老板更明白你的工作是干什么的。

两周时间太短，估计还没开faculty会议呢。除非你面试的非常晚。
但这是一个好信号。

The normal process is the attorney will discuss the position with the
employer, usually your direct supervisor, maybe plus his/her boss, then
present a job description and requirement. Your supervisor may polish or
update it.
Taking 3 weeks is really too long. One or two business days is enough.

基本上就是说看好你，但是暂时没有确定你是不是THE top candidate.

OMG. This is your and your boss responsibility. You should make sure the
description is very very very detailed so that all applications would be
denied. Otherwise you are in trouble. Either your company found a qualified
citizen then you failed the first step, or you are very likely to get audit.
