收到一个offer,公司说只要h1b transfer好了马上开始办绿卡,但不是合同的一部
分。另外出了一个supplemental agreement for green card, 大致如下。这样的能签
吗?我想让他们至少写明在h1 transfer办好后即刻开始绿卡流程,这也是他们口头承
诺的,这种要求算合理吧?有朋友跳槽前公司说的好好的,但去了后公司就会以各种原
因拖。
Employee recognizes that:
1. Permanent Residency Processing is not part of the employment agreement
2. XXX does not need to do this as part of its obligations as an H1B
employer or as part of any dues or compensation to Employee for his/ her
services
3. XXX is obliged to employ Employee only as a temporary worker and that XXX
is providing Permanent Residency processing considering the long term value
to the company.
XXX will sponsor the Employee for Permanent Residency and will meet the
costs of advertisements and attorney fees. Any filing fees, medical
examination fees, and other incidentals will be paid by the Employee. XXX
estimates that the attorney fees, advertisements costs, and all related
overheads will amount to over $ 7,500.
