我觉得坏处是时间快到了的时候有些压力，必须找个办H1B的。
但是要说换工作有好处还是坏处？我没感觉区别。比如有个公司，很想去，给了offer,
但是对方不愿意一来就办h1b,说必须半年后才办。这个时候如果是OPT更好点。最后我
没去，因为我OPT extension都快用完了。这样的公司，即使你H1B了，也不会愿意一开
始就transfer，那就没什么区别了啊。

现在想让公司申请绿卡,但因为在同一职位升过职,公司律师说不可以用在本公司的经验
来申请,如果要申请,得降回进公司时候的职位.可是降职对将来的职业肯定有影响,所以
我不同意降职只为绿卡.现在我在想如果我转到同一公司的其他部门,不知道在同一公司
不同部门的工作经验可不可以算进去申请,这样就不需要降职申请.实在懒的跳公司.谢
谢各位有经验的来指点.

You can use the experience earned in the same employer IF your old position
duty is over 50% different than the new job duty. You will need to list each
jobs duty in details in percentage.
kind of like this:
jobA duty1, 20%;duty2, 30%;duty3, 30%;duty4, 20%
jobB duty1, 20%;duty5, 20%;duty6, 20%;duty4, 20%;duty7, 20%
Same duties: duty1 and 4 -- 40% in common. so 60% differences.

if you have previous experience (not in this company) meet the position's
requirement, it will be enough.
Don't count your experience in current company, otherwise there is DOL audit
, during the year-long audit you need to explain 50% difference between the
two job positions.

Thank you two upstairs very much!
Looks like there is a way to get around it, but most likely, will get DOL
audit. Maybe getting another job in a different company is the only choice.
