上次一早上连续收到USCIS的好几个Ｅｍａｉｌ，一激动发了个帖子，报了喜，结果是
误报，批的是我老婆的，因为我们是一起教的，看到好几封Ｅｍａｉｌ,所以以为都批
了，后来可想而知，好伤心。
这几天每天查信，终于在今天晚上等到了ＵＳＣＩＳ的ＵＰｄａｔｅ.等着用它回国呢
！幸亏差开只有几天，要不然太ＴＭＤ折磨人了。
这振子版上报喜的人好多呀！大过节的看来他们也没歇下呀

President Barack Obama plans to grant a reprieve from deportation to
undocumented immigrant parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent
residents, part of an order that would let 4 million to 5 million people
stay in the U.S., according to people familiar with the proposal.
The White House is also likely to include an expansion of a program Obama
started in 2012, called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which has
given reprieves to 600,000 child immigrants. The administration’s move may
come as soon as Nov. 20, according to the people, who requested anonymity
before a formal announcement.
In addition, Obama will expand a program that gives work permits for up to
29 months to foreign graduates of U.S. universities with degrees in science,
technology, engineering and math. That provides more workers to fill high-
tech jobs.
The administration already once broadened eligibility for the program in
2012 by increasing the qualifying fields of study.

看起来像为了吸引留学，给毕业的stem新生29个月的ead,现在的opt有些限制可能取消

Read it again:
Obama will expand a program that gives work permits for up to
29 months to foreign graduates of U.S. universities with degrees in STEM.
The original OPT is up to 29 months EAD. Obama will expand this program this
time, so it will be a longer STEM EAD or something similar.

怎么expand 没说也可能是给更长时间的0PT，也可能是给更多专业的毕业生29个月0PT。
但无论如何，这是最不利的。而且也和以前泄漏出来的说法不一致

说的是扩大专业的范围。不是延长时间，已经有的专业还是那么长。

这个确实没有哪个人会care！给STEM发EAD都没人care，给美国人打工！EAD还是不等同
于绿卡和公民，福利没有，只有纳税的份。

正解。但这个EAD对非法移民是非常非常有用的。原来是这么使用遮羞布。
