比如ＯＲＤＥＲ　的是ＧＩＦＴＣＡＲＤ　还是　WASHER 还是IPOD ？
应该答案是 YES 吧

are you sure that only stores, like sears, or target, know the content of
the order?
No third parties?

我觉得CC 和CASHBACK WEBSITE 是可以看到的。
1）DISCOVER 规定STAPLES的电脑无 CASHBACK。
2）FATWALLET 也有此规定。

This is totally different story!!
CC and cashback website are different!
Although CC has cashback website like discover cash, they share different
information level.
It depends on the website to share the information with CC or not..
Your example are all cashback website. CC's infra can not hold any of those
informaiton. Also, Staple computer order using different order processing
code. That is why CC know it is computer.
So it is case by case.

Even this way, it depends on how good the website is.
If they do not report transaction according to the rule, no way they can
tell. At CC do not have the ability to know the item. Only category if
website reports

我觉得就是买东西必须从他提供的链接走，跟fatwallet那种哪cashback那种网站一样
类型的，但是如果用了其他的cupon，那么cashbak就会被扣回去。
