我第一次用ebay卖东西，然后一个买家给我发信说愿意立刻通过paypal付钱，让我发给
他paypal账户
并关闭竞拍。以下是他的邮件：
Okay. do you have an active paypal account? i can only send you money via
Paypal because it is the only form of payment i trust for my transaction
on ebay, am ready to buy it now and am offering you 980usd + shipping and
handling fees, i want you to end the auction now and reply with your
paypal email address so i can send the money right now, i will leave you
your feedback after a complete transaction, regards
如果我等他在paypal上付款了，再把东西寄到他的paypal地址，会有什么风险吗？
这样的可能是骗子吗？为什么他不去bid呢？我觉得他给的价格是挺高的，肯定能拍到

isn't it safer to send a Merchant invoice through paypal?
that way as long as you have proof of shipment then you are protected?

我看这个人的账号注册已经有7年了，而且交易记录也很好。。。如果我直接设定一个
buy it now price会不会比较保险？

Shipping address paypal confirmed is the most important. Otherwise, it is easy for buyer
to charge back and you do not have protection from paypal.
BTW, look at his message, can he leave you positive feedback if off ebay
transaction? Do you smell fishing?
