I wrote to the costumer service as following,
I felt disappointed for that BN acted silently. Costumers deserve a
notification email for any change of their orders, including cancellation.
Please issue me a gift card with the balance I spent in this order, as I did
not keep the original gift card with null balance after order. Thanks.

last year I had the exact experience. After making tens of calls,
BN sent me a new gc. You should call their manager and talk to him/her
directly, otherwise you're wasting your time with those stupid assholes.
