Does anyone know this company? They did some remote control work on my
computer. But when I checked onlne, many people said it's a scam. Hope I can
get money back but what I'm concerned most is the securtiy of my pc, email
account, files, online banking information, etc. Thanks.

My Yahoo email had been hacked and I googled for Yahoo customer service
phone numbers. I found a toll free number for Yahoo Suppport. I called them
. The guy asked me to go to logmein.com (if I remember well), and then
followed all his instructions so that he could control my mouse... he found
a so-called Microsoft expert from PC Care Experts and that guy said my
computer had been infection and that was why my email had been hacked. He
also said everything else at my computer and net work were at risk...after
working on my computer remotely for 45 minutes he said everything was
secured. He instructed me to change the password and security qeustions for
my yahoo email.
At last, I was lead to a web site to pay by credit card ($199).They provides
one year service.

45分钟都一个钟了啊
你有没用浏览器邮件客户端保存密码的习惯
基本密码都改一遍吧
然后下个免费的avira 全盘扫一遍
应该不会太大问题人家最多就是骗你点钱
logmein貌似只是一个服务但是有人拿来做坏事

如果你感觉某个东西很可以就用 xxx + scam 搜索一下

online banking一般都还好
你自己更新一下cookie都要重新验证的
邮箱帐户密码赶紧改吧尤其是喜欢用类似密码甚至一样密码的
起码你去找一个那种sha 或者md5密码生成器加密一遍再用

话说一般都是90年代末期上网的老美才用yahoo的邮箱吧。。

Thank you all for the helpful information. I've changed the passwords for
all important accounts.
A guy from that company called me again today asking about the service. I
asked him not to bother me anymore. He said if I'm not satisfied he can
refund me money, which is what I wanted. Actually I had already told my
credit company not to pay that amount and cancelled that card immediatly.
I'm still worried about what they had done to my PC... wondering if they
install something that could hack my accounts. I need to find someone whom I
trust to check my computer.
BTW, be careful when gooling phone numbers. Any customer service phone
numbers. My big mistake was when I called that number, I thought they were
Yahoo and didn' even think about anything else. Today, a real Yahoo cusomter
service guy told me they've been getting reports regarding PC care experts.

next time you found a cs no. from internet, google the no. itself again....
I don't think they have done anything bad to your pc, it will be too risky
running "scam" business like this. Not to mention the profit/time ratio...
anyway, you can never be too careful. Like I said, go download yourself an
free anti-virus software, like avira. And, yes, this time, you should google
this name first..
run a full system scan, and sleep at ease tonight~
