3 and 4 with retina, better resolution screen. It's a lot better than the
old model. I would suggest go for it.

what's the difference between 3/4, cpu changed?

yep, that's the major change A6x vs A5x, the front camera on 4 is a little
better, and 4 has the lightening cable. That's about it. oh, and the
horrible map on iOS6.
