How is this book compared to Jean-Jacques Laffont and David Martimort's The
theory of Incentive? Or latter is just a subset of contract theory? I want to
see a content of this new book, but can't find it online. :(

the context is slightly different. B&D's book discussed dynamic contracting
issue and incomplete.
ch1-4 are about classic or now standard adverse selection model, and moreal
harzard model. ch5 is about disclosure of verifiable info, ch6 is about
multi-dimensional incentive problem. ch7 is on auction, ch8 is about
multi-agent moral harzard and collusion. ch9-10 is about dynamic contract.
ch11-13 is about incomplete contract.
Laffont's book is volume one of three books they planned to write. It on
