would you do? What process would you follow? Make any assumptions you need
to. What are the critical assumptions?

貌似是无线网卡的问题，经常上网到一半就什么网页都打不开，虽然ping得通。
telnet任何一个网站（比如google）的80端口也都没有反应。
请问应该如何诊断呢？

Does this function have memory problem?
void pushSomthingIntoVector(vector & v) { //T is a class
v.assign(0, T(100)) //T(int a) is a constructor of class T
v.push_back(T(50))
}
void anotherFunction() {
vector v;
pushSomethingIntoVector(v);
cout << v[0] << endl;
cout << v[1] << endl;
}
T(100) and T(50) are created locally within the function
pushSomthingIntoVector(vector & v), does it exsit outside of the function
? say, in the two lines of "cout" ?
Should I change the code as follows:

其实我只是想申请ＰＨＤ的小衰人．．．
只上过一门ＭＡＲＫＥＴ　ＳＴＲＵＣＴＵＲＥ的课
现在要和一个微观的和一个ＩＯ的老师ＭＥＥＴＩＮＧ，谈谈我的ＰＬＡＮ．．．
他们肯定会问我有什么感兴趣的ＴＯＰＩＣ，我要选方向肯定是ＩＯ，因为有个学校只
有ＩＯ和ＬＡＢＯＲ　ＭＡＲＫＥＴ２个可以选．
求问问版上大牛们，我可以去和他们说什么？？？
ＩＯ方向有些什么可以研究的？？？？？
ＩＮＴＥＲＥＳＴ　ＲＡＴＥ和这个有关么？？？因为我就做过一些关于外汇的研究．
．．寒．．．
ＴＲＡＮＳＦＥＲ　ＰＲＩＣＩＮＧ也和这个有关么？？？或者还能有啥别的关于ＰＲ
ＩＣＩＮＧ的？
总之我以后的ＰＬＡＮ是要回中国，干吗都无所谓．．．ＩＯ有啥能和亚洲中国什么的
扯上的么？？？？
我知道我问的比较外行．．．
ＥＣＯＮ　ＭＡＳＴＥＲ，　国内ＦＩＮＡＮＣＩＡＬ　ＥＮＧＩＮＥＥＲＩＮＧ的本

all STL containers do copy in and copy out. you take care of all objects
outside the container, and the container will take care of the objects it
contains.

go to their website, find the introduction of their field IO, and find out
the outline of those field courses. Talk to your current professor if you
are still in school.
If you give me 100 weibe, I will try to talk more tomorrow, ^-^

主要我自己本身没有什么研究，不知道可以说什么让这２个老师会对我有兴趣．．．
我在学校，但是我们没有自己的ＰＲＯＦＥＳＳＯＲ．．．

there are many other phd program with IO, you can check their web and do the
same job.
Also, you can find which uiniversities did these two professors graduate
from, and backwards to those programs.
Thank you for your 包子, but 1 包子 is not enough, hehe....

本来想和你msn聊，不过没看见你。那就这里说罢。
他们应该不会问你具体对邻域的理解。但必然问你为什么econ phd,为什么我们学校。
第一个问题一般是说自己想做研究，喜欢学术，blabla
的二个问题，一般是捡人家强，你自己也比较喜欢的说。好像你这里是IO吧，那就说我
喜欢IO，你这里offer了很多IO课程，最好直接说人家课程编号，显得你很熟悉。IO的
领域我也不熟，这个看几个教授的简历。他们法的文章，还有课程描述应该可以得到自
己的信息了。此外，这里有很好的研究环境，等等和你的长期目标一致。你已经在数学
（金融工程），经济学上面做好了很多准备，自己可以很轻松surive。。。。
个人觉得，除非自己是大牛，一般不宜谈具体的专业。以你的背景，肯定没有问题。
