Given the current delay on EB3 quota, anybody has any ideas on how we, as
teachers, could move from
EB3 up to EB2, provided that we stay with the same employer? I have
consulted with my lawyer. He said
that being a department head may be the only option. Anyone with personal
experience on this topic?

My previous post described my experience pretty thoroughly... but I couldn't
find it now :-P
Basically you should go for EB-2 if the job description says a master degree
is required or preferred.
Good luck.

Thank you, Laukeen. We talked before, My lawyer told me that a teacher
generally does not require a master's degree or five year experience unless
we can prove all the teachers in my school or school district have the same
credentials. I just looked at the Immigration Board. There is someone with
EB3, who has PD of 1999, has just been approved. TEN YEARS! Any thoughts?

I am also on EB3. I am already sick of it. I am going to get a master in
another field, find a job in a company, earn more money, work less and
change to EB2.

看来EB3要坐穿牢底了,搞不好要追认了!愿上帝保佑所有的EB3们!

I became a department head and thus got EB-2. If you work hard, it's totally
possible.

要笑死了 :)
我是Department Head. 我还是EB3. 没指望了。 :( 不过我不是很在意。EAD 给了
很多方便的条件,很知足了。
