I guess she meant that the capacity will be quite different from the classical
communication channel if quantum channel can be constructed for data
transmission. The problem formulation is different so we need a theory with
certain extension of Shannon's theory to quantum world. Even in quantum
information theory, the AEP and method of types should apply for ergodic
sources since they can simply be derived from LLN. :)
