拿到了lehigh ie的offer,目前导师没定，第一年只上课
这个学校的ie设有一下方向:
Financial Engineering
Information Systems
Manufacturing, Production and Logistics
Optimization
Stochastic Processes and Applied Statistics
本人背景ee，但是本科是国内的电气工程，也就是power一类；master是美国一排名100
开外的小学校的微波铁电材料，也是不伦不类。目前也拿到了ee的offer,psu和
northeastern,方向都和微波铁电材料相关。
现在想着是不是就此跳出ee?不知道ie和ee哪个方向出来好找工作？哪个发展潜力更大？

看了一下版上的帖子，貌似ee phd的工资还是蛮高的，动辄90k-110k，甚至有的地方
120k+，不知道转去ie将来工作，工资怎么样？

你看的那都是天花板工资,很多地板的,人家没有说, ee现在就是死水.
lehigh的ie rank好像很高啊, 据说11th

actually, i think 3rd is actually what industrial really wants
too many ppl want to jump in finance, how ever, space is limited,
so be careful, especially considering current situation.
and most finance company will not help you for green card

sure. even though this year wall st. stinks, I still think financial
engineering is better than ee. you can also consider 5.
