示收到2万, 转出6000, 这20000算income，6000算啥？

individual to conduct research in the application of optimal control theory
to electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid
background in control theory, mathematics, and be proficient with Matlab and
C coding. Experience of dSpace would be considered an asset. PhD students
in engineering or applied mathematics are encouraged to apply. Start date
for the position is as soon as possible and the duration of the internship
is 3 months.

or
COGS (cost of goods/service sold)
the net effect on your bottom line will be the same.

If 20k is income, then 6k is independant contractor expense, you need to
issue a 1099 to this party.
