看了tiangeng的一些帖子，据说是今年irs如果没有1042S，就不给免5000$。田大侠也
提出来了应对措施，就是把相关文件（没有1042S也能有免税）打印出来，然后去国际
中心开证明，证实自己有资格拿到这个免税额，最后再写个cover letter，一股脑寄过
去。
我想问的是，如果只是在1040上面填写妥当，并附上8833表，没有1042S，有成功的例
子吗？
已经是第六年了，成了resident alien，学校也不再开1042S了。谢谢

these, they all don't need WEB/HTTP(s), even in some senses they are against

这俩都一般 ，1比较老，2比较新，毕业后去学术界的话2可能机会多点，工业界两个都
不算特别好，另外phd的老板很重要，如果是业界有名气的，毕业后工作不成问题。

我觉得工业界的趋势是变电站 IEC 61850，工业以太网的应用 智能电表，智能监控设备
学术界整那些game thoery的东西，不知道猴年马月才能用上，至少未来10年没有机会
用上

学术界那些扯淡的数学控制，不是十年内没机会，是根本没机会。
看现在刚刚毕业的学生在公司里面干，真感觉他们什么都不懂啊，纯被这些扯淡的研究
