RF Test Engineer Job Description
QA RF Test Engineer Opening: This position is intended for QA activities
around FBAR RF test, data analysis & some hardware development.
Immediate Responsibilities:
Set up complex high power RF tests: work closely with R&D and QA team to
prepare test samples, define the test requirements, and determine the test
input.
Coordinate with technicians to schedule and run the tests.
Perform data analysis: prepare and present reports to group
-- If there is more bandwidth, there will be opportunity for performing some
lab R&D oriented activities in the areas of RF characterization, modeling &
test development (instrument automation, hardware modification,
enhancements, etc.).
Must-Have Requirements:
Master with 1-7 years of industry experience
Phd with 1 - 3 years of industry/postdoc experience
3 -10 years of work experience in RF & Microwave (including school work)
RF instrument exposure to at least one of the following:
Spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, non-linear vector network analyzers,
signal sources, signal analyzers, power meters, etc
Highly motivated; Good communicator; Working effectively as a team-
member.
Ability and willingness to work in fast-paced environment with varieties
of responsibilities.
Desired Skills:
Hands-on lab experience in VNA calibrations (E-Cal & on-wafer); Wafer
probing; PNA-X; X-parameters.
Familiarity with some programming languages like Perl, Python, Matlab,
LabView, VEE, C++, C#, etc.
Data processing skills & exposure to data analyzing programs like R,
Python, etc.
Instrument automation experience.
Work Authorization:
Must be green card holder or a US citizen.
