不明白怎么那么多公司用linux做server，freebsd多好啊
The main focus for FreeBSD is performance, particularly of the TCP/IP stack
with a number of companies, including Yahoo, using FreeBSD as an Internet se

google据说也是freebsd？很多网络设备也是跑的bsd系列的东西，不过总体趋势似乎还是
往linux这边走

早期的decision基本上是freebsd一边倒的，比如google, juniper, etc...
但是linux的supporting community 比freebsd要大得多，很多feature近些年也是linux
上快过freeBSD. 最近一个时期embedded linux players越来越多，如果我要develope产
品，当然首选linux. 有的时候performance查个一点儿半点儿的不算啥。

同意，而且在软件上的些许差别，可能用硬件很容易就弥补上了。反正就是软件越做越大
，
越来越复杂，硬件越来越快，相互拖后腿往前拽。

如果现在开始ＯＳ选型（假设没有任何ｌｅｇａｃｙ限制）选ｆｒｅｅｂｓｄ是不太明智
的
有ｒｅｌｉｇｉｏｎ的除外。
