用了1年多了也该，错误频频，经常在启动机器的时候，这个gds不能启动，index已经达
到3个多G，系统速度变慢，今天一狠心把gds卸载了，发现系统速度立刻快了很多，硬盘
也多出了3G的空余。
只是没有了search，很是不习惯了，别的desktop search怎么样？yahoo的，msn的？

比较google desktop search, 更喜欢Copernic的，但是Copernic对硬盘的胃口好像更大
。目前我用Google, 想回Copernic，但是没试过yahoo。yahoo的如何？比google好？

俺东西太多，以前没用这个desktop search不知道，用了以后就离不开了

做了一番调查，发现似乎呼声最高的排名如下：
Copernic Desktop Search - aquired by mamma.com?
Yahoo Desktop Search - powered by X1
Windows Desktop Serach - called MSN desktop search
Google Desktop Search
而且似乎很多人都对单独的x1 desktop search评价最高，但是x1 desktop search不是免
费的。很想试试copernic desktop search，但是这是一家小公司，好像刚被mamma.com收
购，从来没有听说过这么一家搜索公司还。
综上所述，本人正式决定放弃google desktop search，开始使用yahoo desktop search
，yahoo的所有其他的service目前还没有让俺失望的，希望这个也是。

gds has a plugin to do that, which is good. since many
early journal papers are only available in scanned form.

厚厚，今天才发现原来公司是X1的用户，把Copernic也卸载了，装了一个x1，果然爽，连
offline pst file也能index。而且前两天看来是冤枉yahoo了，那个desktop bar是可以
弄出来的
