sure, i do believe in afterlife, but not the clear and definite
and simplified scheme of "heaven and hell" or "eternal fire and
eternal peace" ... such things are mere imaginations of dull
people.
Have you seen the book by James Van Praagh ? though it is mostly
concerned with the biblical true meanings and revelations of
afterlife, he did point out some very, very inspirational stuff
about this. you can check his book -- "talking with heaven" and
"reaching to heaven" both were once among bestse

it is nice to be a little special, isn't it? :)
I started to think about this when I was a high school senior. Still
vividly remember that hellish summer -- haunted by the idea of death.
I was so obsessed with it that I was so sure that I couldn't live
through that summer. Now I don't fear it anymore. It is not that I
have accomplished something or I have tasted all I should taste in my
life, it is just that I accept the fact that I am mortal. :-)
