why not. sadden is a verb, and saddening..... i just don't think saddening
is an adjective.....

I thin depressing is more like "Ju-Sang", sentimental is better. One can say
, that makes me sentimental, or, as the people talking about Peter Jennings,
"As he gets old, he becomes more and more sentimental".

My thinking is that "sad" is to express some sort of grief, or feeling of
misery. While "sentimental" is more related to sentiment, or sense. For
example, "At the end of spring, the falling flowers makes him sentimental",
while sad is an overstatement. :D
I am looking for the face I had before the world was made.
