civil比环境还更粗枝大叶,读个本科就够了
civil比EE position多,但是我学环境的,想做civil, process都可以,学civil的人想做

现在学PROCESS的PHD都多的不得了，学别的专业的想转PROCESS估计机会不多吧。
总的来说，做PROCESS在做环境工程里面算是难度比较大的。一般公司不会招没背景的
人来做。
而且PROCESS的施工过程比大部分CIVIL项目都要复杂，很多东西要在设计真正施工的时
候才学的到。真正培养一名能够独立设计的工程师比起其它方向来讲，周期要长很多。

啥行业不都那点破东西么,反正我们公司没听说有找civil背景的人来做process的
当然,别人公司财大气粗,养个人慢慢学着也可能

with you on the point if environmental PEs should be recognized as engineers

I think what pnlmpnlm really mean is,
Civil PE can work on Environmental Projects.
While environmental PE cannot work on Civil projects.
And I think it is true. However, it doesn't mean a licensed civil PE is
capable of leading a process project.
PE is just a license, if you plan to work on civil projects, then get a
civil PE instead of an environmental one. Most of the time, it is just a
choice. I bet if you have civil engineers take an Environmental PE exam,
most of them won't pass. :)

big, energy related, 我公司正好符合你这两条，
可是情况和你说的正好相反
Environmental背景的engineer虽然比例小，但是属于核心group
最有意思的是，在civil的眼睛里，总觉得process group的人是higher level,估计是
被一堆MS, Phd的帽子吓得
