今天闲在家里，想起DL该延期了，就准备了所有文件：旧DL，SSN卡，护照，所有收据
（485,765,131等等），又戴上I-94（已过期），为了证明I-94，又戴上过期的I20，准
备充分后出发DMV。
半路上想起车该年检了，顺道一起做了。到了DMV，看到年检人不多，就先做这个，排
了12分钟后，用了2分钟就完了，5年没做过年检了，原来现在就读下code就行了。
说正事：排队进了DMV大厅，填了表，准备被刁难一下，因为没用过EAD/AP卡延过DL，
结果人家看了EAD/AP后，只要SSN和旧DL，还看到我有医疗保险卡，说这个也行。过程
22分钟。然后，工作人员提醒我，你应该换SSN卡了。
出来一看时间尚早，就找了下SS的办公室，居然在家门口，去问问吧。拿号，填表，排
队，等了半小时后到我了，我说就是问问可不可以换SSN卡，工作人员说带了旧卡没？
带了；带了EAD没？带了；带护照没？到了。行了，两周内寄给你，旧的我们收了。我
说那你给我个证明好吧，万一有人要我SSN卡看怎么办，然后，工作人员就打印个证明
说这厮有卡，只不过在更换新的。全程5分钟，态度一般，但也没什么可挑剔的。

总结：
换驾照：EAD/AP，ssn，旧驾照，医疗保险卡。

地点是在NJ北部，不具有普遍性，仅供参考。

拋到九霄云外——这么美丽的演唱，透明度仅次卡芭叶（Montserrat Caballe），谁能
说歌声不美呢？在芙萝拉家中争吵的段落，苏莎兰真像是一只惊弓之鸟﹗谁能说她只顾
歌唱不顾戏剧呢？

the interviewee just told me that the final offer is $72k or $35/hr, 6
months contract to hire position.
Told ya, don't be fool by the environmental engineer low salary joke. It's
all about how much you can give/sell.

有人问为什么换SSN卡？
我来的时候，考驾照就给SSN，但上面写着不让工作。但我工作的时候，雇主也没在意
，不过既然有机会就换了，免得以后引起麻烦。

嗯，是了，这个是说1～4年经验的吧？一般招聘说0～5年经验的，最后都会录取那个5
年的。fresh的同学们，找intern公司还会说overqualify咧。
不过huangs的“2月”的说法，我也的确听说了，上个月业界酒会有个大公司的的主管
也说，明年2月有项目，大家到时候来找我吧，巴拉巴拉巴拉。不知道这个“2月”是怎
么个说法？难道是suspended projects都获准继续了？哪位大侠过来解解惑？

usually the number won't go down after the contractor period as long as
the performance can meet the expectation.
3.5 to 4 years MS worth around 58K to 63K in NYC+ around 15K with PE.
You can live at Edison or somewhere NJ, rent is cheap and train cost less
than 300 a month.

Local government has no budget for construction/environmental projects.
Everyone keep eyes on the mid-term election, until ppl figure out who will
be in charge of the state government, capital hill, there won't be any new
funding out. and don't expect ppl to work on Dec. In this case, making
plan on Jan, project will kick off on Feb, March 2011 etc.
