各有优劣，我出于好奇想调查一下：）
我还没毕业，觉得似乎单纯从做talk的角度来看ppt的制作效率和灵活度要好得多。但
是也听人说，做好的beamer更容易转化成一本书或者别的publication, 所以上课用
beamer有其好处。
不知道大家怎么想？

beamer做的课件让人看完第一页后就失去听的兴趣了。
用beamer做talk的人一般都是没怎么讲过talk的人，以为beamer做的比ppt更有技术含
量。见过不少低年级grad学生热衷于用这个。高年级以及教授以上的很少用他做slides
了，除非为了省事糊弄人。
纯理科的除外。

我用beamer做上课的classnote，用keynote做学术报告。classnote页数太多，还有很
多公式，不可能用ppt或者keynote做。

数学系用powerpoint的基本是自虐。不过Beamer的那几个模版确实是
很腻歪。现在我就是把所有的颜色都去掉，基本就是白板上写一些公式。

absolutely must. (Speaking of, where’s the iWork update, Apple? It’s been
4 years! I love Pages and Keynote. Numbers, meh. But they show their age in
places).

学术报告用Keynote。上课的notes用PPT，主要是因为我们有系统的互相share课件，别
的教授主流一般是PPT。

我自己改良的beamer 模版也是纯黑白灰。

beamer适合图少，公式多，制作起来速度比ppt快得多，较少需要考虑排版

给报告如何主要看内容
和用什么做没什么关系
beamer也不见得说非得满slides都是公式
另外，latex最大的优势是，你写的时候可以专注内容和逻辑，
不需要太关心看起来如何或者搞什么特殊效果
很多时候搞得花里胡哨飞来飞去的完全是distract听众而已
beamer那些模板是挺无聊的
我自己做了个纯白色背景的

是的，我的classnote平均一张slide 两个图，如果用ppt keynote做，拖图调大小会把
手拖断的。用beamer 做省事多了。
