我们需要花大价钱做的测试人家竟然免费。学生就更不用说了，碰上个feng Zhang
这种学生，能把多数人认为不可能的新想法给做出来。

No kidding, you should look at my post-doc collaborator's students over last
40 years. I don't even think he has to do anything for at least last 30
years. More than half of the NIH review section members where he send his
grants to are linked to him, and almost all the top departments in his field
in the US have his students in senior position.

刚看到一个，某大牛弟子。第一年AP，PM直接给了相当于一个regular grant的EAGER。

这是个良性循环，环环相扣。
karl deisseroth自己先牛逼，能进的了stanford做PI，然后就可以照得到feng zhang,
kay tye这样的postdoc, stanford的phd学生也能选出顶尖的来留在自己lab. 然后整
个lab就更牛逼，size变更大，后代出更多，其中一部分最牛的送出去牛校继续做
faculty,然后你就慢慢
有了自己的family tree, 然后大势力了。
