My group is already very heavy in Chinese, and honestly I need to diversify
a little for various reasons.
Two candidates. A, Chinese, a little old for starting a phd, very fitting
background, although undergraduate institution not very good. He has loads
of work experience & papers and I'm confident could get right into it.
B, Iranian, MS, 2 papers, should be smart guy, although his background does
not fit exactly and needs to be trained in our area. However, choosing B
could help diversify a little.
