最近这一年来很多朋友都怀孕生宝宝. 我在半年前写了一个单子, 算是我的使用经验.
今天看到版上其他MM问, 决定还是贴上来, 给大家一个参考...
每个人的宝宝都是unique的. 适合我们家奕云的物品, 未必适合其他宝宝, 这只是给JM
们的一个单子看看, 具体的还是JM们自己决定...
单子是用英文写的, 本来就是Email给我自己朋友们看的..如有不明白的话, 尽管问...
当初买东西和后来写单子, 都是参照RainforestMM的贴子, 希望她的宝宝一切都好...

1. Gear
• Car Seat: We got Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat & Base,
mainly because 猪头 loved the color (Cubes), and it can be used longer (30lb
? I forgot)... But this is a heavy car seat, when 奕云 was younger, we had
to carry her inside car seat, and ... well.. it built up arm muscle ;-) Now
that she's old enough... we could just leave the car seat in the car... It
is good to have an infant car seat though, since baby would easily fall in
sleep in the seat and we didn't want to wake

2. Activity:
• Gyms & Playmats: We bought Tiny Love Gymini Super Deluxe -
Lights&Music. It's ok. Easy to fold, colorful. Supposedly helps baby with tummy time, rolling, flipping... 奕云 didn't like it until she's 3 months old at very least. Even then she didn't know what to do with the music/light or toys hanging over head. Now she's so big she could easily move beyond the gym. Well, it's one of those toys you could have it, or not have it. It did free up some time for me, since 奕云 c

3 Feeding:
• Pump: My friend sent me her pump, medela, and I bought a
bunch of accessories, none were used, because hospital provided breast pump
accessories and I got to bring those home... like tubes, bottles, cups, the
only thing they don't let you take home is the pump motor... so... if you
want to buy them.. keep receipt, in case u get free ones from hospital...
return the ones you bought...
• Pads: Lansinoh's bra pads are the best, prevent leaking, don
’t have t

4. Nursery
• Bassinets, Cradles & Portable Cribs: We didn't buy any. 奕云
has been sleeping with me since the very beginning. She didn't really need
an adult to sleep with her in order to fall in sleep. It's me who didn't
want to get up in the middle of night to feed her.. so co-sleep saves my
time.. and easier for me to sleep feed her :-P I always breast feed her
during the night...
• Changing Tables: No need, any dresser would do.. make sure
the height is comfortable

5. Bath & Potty:
• Bath Tubs: I picked up Fisher-Price Rainforest Bath Center
because it had a net to hold infant baby. But 奕云 was born almost 9 lb, the
net was already too small for her. We did use the tub for several months,
and it was getting too small, so I got PRIMO EuroBath. It's one of the best
reviewed tub, and 猪头loves it, so did 奕云 :-)
• Shampoo & Body Wash: I bought Kiehl's baby hair and body
wash. 奕云 is not picky, and there is no reaction towards the wash,

不可否认钢琴入门简单，有点点基础就能弹得好听，全家人可以一起玩，何乐而不为。

6. Health & Safety:
• Health & Grooming Kit: Base on review, I got The First Years
American Red Cross Deluxe Grooming Essentials Kit. So far only used hair
comb and nail clipper 
• Nasal Aspirator: Hospital will provide you a rubber suction
ball, which I never used. Instead, I ordered Baby Nasal Aspirator Vacuum
Suction Pigeon Japan from Amazon. 奕云 hated people poking her nose, every
time I tried to suck her nose, she would scream and cry. In the end, very
lit

7. Clothing & Other
• New Born Cloth: Get some side snap shirts. Hospital will
provide a few, and allow you to take home. It’s good when baby did not lose
umbilical cord. After the cord is gone, she can wear onesies. Chinese call
the style… monk shirt ;-) Also, when baby is young, try to get outfit with
front opening only. They don’t like to have cloth pull over the head. 奕云
didn’t like it until she’s several months old. Now she doesn’t care what
we put on her :-P

8. Baby Toys:
I didn’t buy too many toys due to limited space we have at home. Here are
the ones we got:
• Car Seat/Stroller Toy:
i. Bright Starts Petal Pusher Carrier Toy Bar. We didn’t put
this one until 奕云 was at least 3+ months. When baby is too young, she
doesn’t care about sound/light/color. She sleeps more in the car seat
61514;
• Crib Toy:
i. Fisher-Price Miracles & Milestones Peek-a-Boo Piano: Baby
doesn’t know what this is until

9. Books
• What to Expect when you are Expecting: The bible book for
pregnant women  I didn’t really read it in detail. It serves as a
reference book for me, since each person is different, each pregnancy is
unique.
• What to Expect when you are Expecting, the first year:
Another good reference book. 奕云 has been ahead of this book’s schedule a
little bit. I think it has something to do with her over staying in my tummy
for 11 days :-P

Chinese Zither, Guzheng is very easy to play as well. If you do not like
piano, you could try guzheng.
Learning piano is like learning the ABC of music. If you could afford it,
just do it.

属实。
不过，（对于母语而言），有见过娃连话都说不利索的时候，就直接给娃猛推
phonics / spelling 的幼儿园么？。。。当然，无节操的另说。。。

我看差不多。我觉得就是个贵点的娱乐设施，有兴趣多玩玩，没兴趣瞎玩玩，负担得起
就行了呗。

其实娱乐娱乐挺好的。。。就记得红旗彩旗别搞反就成。。。

我老家里钢琴，手风琴，小提琴，萨克斯，二胡都有。还有一个竖笛，当年高中音乐课
买的。都能玩，但不精和深入，理论欣赏高于实际演奏。
当然家里运动器械也有，跑步机，椭圆机，乒乓球台，羽毛球架，篮球架，等。
德智体美劳，要全面发展的说。

这个实在不能算是恶习，反而是应该发扬的优良传统。只要家长不逼着孩子练琴就好了
我们小时候穷的只有一条街的乡下小镇，小学也有鼓乐队，中学每个人也发个笛子口琴
上音乐课。
音乐是多好的精神享受，钢琴也是很好的全家娱乐乐器。
