终极解决方案，换管道。临时解决方案，hydrojet清理，能管至少一年，树根还会长。

Thank you for all the replies. I will ask about hydrojet cleaning cost.
I am considering the following two options. Appreciate your suggestion!
1. We do not have a cleanout point, and the only main access is on the roof.
To help cleaning up the pipe, would you think adding a house cleanout
access point without changing the pipe be good enough? The cost is about 800
~1000.
2. Changing the pipe costs about $4500 including all permits and
installation of 2 cleanouts to the property line. Does that seems reasonable
? Thanks.

i had the same issue, cost me 700$, they dig out the tree and replaced the
pipe.

对啊，挖深沟换管子那可是要破费的，要是在水泥地下的话的
费用就更大了，我刚换了，两个人搞了一个兴趣才弄完，8千
从家到STREET的管子我全换了，因为太老，好多地方都CRUMBLE了
一百年的小黑房

价格合理不合理要看你家管道的深度。换管子非常容易，大部分钱都花费在挖沟上。
方案2当然比1好。因为方案1只是临时解决方案，树根还会长，你需要隔一两年就清理
一次，看树根生长的速度。现在的管道都是塑料管道，都是全封闭的，如果不破损，树
根不会往里长。

This is exactly what the plumber told me, mine was palm tree on the dirt,
easy to dig out, that's why it is not super expensive.
