刚拿到律师的I-140 (Eb1b) petition letter, 发现律师在开头竟然说 "XXX company
WILL/seeks to provide me(申请人）a job upon the approval of the green card."
还有"Contingent upon the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’
approval of the enclosed petition, Dr.XX will be employed by XXX Company in
the position...."还有在工作描述中，"In his position, Dr.XX will be
responsible for...."
感觉律师的写法很奇怪，我现在就处在这个职位上，为什么要用将来的状态，看起来好
像我还目前没有这个工作似的。而且Eb1b本身不就要求有permenant的job position吗？
问了律师，律师回信如下：
The green card is forward looking in that the immigration service needs
confirmation that XXX company intends to employ you in this position at the
time that you get the green card. The WILL refers to the job "offer"--it
does not matter whether you are currently employed by the company but rather
whether your employer intends to continue this employment once you have the
green card. You could potentially be working in a temporary position
without a permanent job offer, so we have to explicitly state that the
company "will" employ you in this position at the time that you obtain your
green card.
律师说的对吗？ 大家的petition letter里也是类似吗？
