registered at partypoker.com, said i need to play 500 raked hands to
get the $100 bonus. is there a minimum $ requirement for a hand to be
called a ranked hand?

rake 就是庄家收的commission吧.

Raked hands are the hands raked by the house. Normally there is 5% of the pot
taken by the house but if the pot is too small, there may not be any rake.
Party's bounus is the easiest to get. As long as you sit in the game, all
raked hands are counted even if you are not involved in them. The best way to
claim it is the full table of limited holdem. Tournament plays are not counted

thanks, but i am playing at 0.5/1 table, even the blinds cost 1.5 total if
everyone else folds. 1.5$ x 0.05 = 7.5c, so there should always be money
for the house. but not every hand is "raked". any explainations?

hehe,我没有online的经验,我想可能庄家要收到一定的钱才能算raked hand,
如果只收几分钱应当是不算的.不过还是让有经验的来说吧.要不你打partypoker的800电
话问问看.

If the pot is not big, there is no rake. If everybody folds, there is no rake.
If one raise or bet and everybody folds, there is no rake. It depends on how
much money in the middle of the table. Like 0.5/1 table, maybe they only rake
the pot bigger than $3. You can observe it.

just realized partypoker actually takes 10% of the pot. rake is at $5.

in the local casiones, the house takes about 3-4$ from a table with 6+ players
. so 10% is not so bad if a high percentage of pots are below 30-40$. This
actually encourages tighter play.but the rake is too high.
