it says 4-8 hours of daily sun, so....outdoor? how about hang it up around
one side of the front door?

Purple wondering jew? It's a house plant in the north. It can survive
indirect sunlight, but it need to be in a bright spot. fertilize very
sparsely as it can burn the plant...once a month during grewing season (Apr
to Sep) should be enough.
