if your current $ is high and it is out of their budget, they won't hire you.

based on your skills, expr. and interview performance.

做的时候还没那么多weed呢,现在weed越来越多了。。。
可以理解已经长出来的没有办法了,但是也不应该越来越多啊。。。

这不对。background check查不到工资。

我可以确定的告诉你有些background check可以查出你的current salary。
又可以告诉你有的时候查不出。
有过一次在要给人一个offer的时候,公司HR通知我说这个人说current salary是X,可
是其实是Y。也有听过当年查不出,以后混熟了后才知道的。
具体上为什么查出或查不出呢?据我所知,查的出应该是通过像是ADP或者假如你没有
说不能通知现在employer,那HR跟HR一般打交道都是肯在这点合作的。还有,假如你上
一个工作是在会公开工资的地方,比如government,那至少我公司用的background
check (Occuscreen)永远查的出来。
还有,reference假如有一个应该知道你salary的人,像主管,打来的background
check或HR本身会问。我有的时候会为我以前的员工做reference,打来的会直接问我“

If you need visa transfer, your new company will ask for your last several
pay stubs. What would you do if you have to reveal to them your true salary
which is inconsistent with what you have told them? Of course you may find
some excuse to cover your story, but you still put yourself in an awkward
situation and may jeopardize your job offer. They may have gone too far with
you that they can't just dump you, that still leaves a bad taste in their
mouth. IMHO, do not lie for the gain of a few or
pay stubs. What would you do if you have to reveal to them your true salary
