刚才看了关于加州，美东学校比较的讨论，突然想到当年举家从波士顿搬到休斯顿，真
的不知道是不是个错误决定。
虽然会让孩子去个10分的学校，但是不是休斯顿的10分含金量很低啊。

好久没有来版上发帖子，这个应该是我最后一次来版上发帖子。
这个夏天应该是难忘的一个，也是我这辈子绝无仅有的一个，因为它给我人生带来了最
大的希望和最大的打击。我很怀念我在版上在过去一年的美好时光，认识了很多大叔大
妈，然而天下无不散的宴席，也是时候该说再见了，但希望有缘再来贵版，希望到时候
你们还能记得我，哈哈。
下面就来发图了，后面的两张是我今天上午摘的，摘下自己种的果实，那种感觉真的很
好！ :)

牛！不得不顶。
这边最流行的抽法是用bowl,一个类似烟斗的小玩艺，左边有个小孔，吸的时候先用手
指堵住小孔，在大麻燃烧的过程中松开手指，让空气和烟气一起吸入。
ＰＩＰＥ一般用于吸crack,当然也可以用来吸大麻，不过由于其装填量小，不爽。

college degree kids can get a high-paid job already...so why bother? Also,
some local Texans think Texas is the best place to live, so they don't want

some local Texans think Texas is the best place to live, so they don't want
to move out.

其实吧，如果真是想去IVY LEAGUE, 应该去那些人招得少的州。比如这个阿拉斯加，中
国人去了，肯定是全州第一，当地人根本木有办法和你竞争。你不要看加州的招的人多
，你不知道每个被招进去的学生后面有多少亚裔的学生在垫背。像我家，不要说IVY
LEAGUE, 连州立都不考虑，就直接打听周围的COMMUNITY COLLAGE。 因为亚裔就对ＣＯ
ＭＭＵＮＩＴＹＣＯＬＬＥＧＥ 没兴趣，不抢这个。

难道美国也象中国一样有地域的招生指标差别？比如，哈佛分配给阿拉斯加一个指标，
不管这个阿拉斯加第一名不如加州的第200名，也会要阿拉斯加的第一名，是这样吗？
我原来以为美国不这样。
还是这个geographic distribution就是一个招生情况的客观分布，不是招生指标？比
如， 阿拉斯加生源少，符合哈佛统一招生标准的学生就是少，只能录取到一个。

areas. each area is about 15-20%.
