The Knock Out ® family of roses was started by rose breeder Bill Radler
when he crossed seedlings of 'Carefree Beauty' with 'Razzle Dazzle' to
create the original Knock Out® rose. The family now includes varieties
that range from blush to vibrant red, and even yellow:

网上查了一下，是'Carefree Beauty' 和 'Razzle Dazzle' 的杂交品种，应该不是啥
转基因玫瑰吧？只是听着这名字感觉不爽，像是啥基因敲除玫瑰，干嘛起这么一个名字
？有谁知道？
我用这玫瑰花瓣做玫瑰酱，效果很好，香喷喷的。只是听着这KNOCK OUT ROSE的名字，
实在有点紧张。

这大冬天的，还在盛开的玫瑰，估计除了KNOCKOUT ROSE，其他品种估计都不行了。我
的玫瑰都是前屋主留下了，搞不清是啥品种。但是现在还在断断续续地开放，估计就只
有KNOCKOUT ROSE有这本事了。

only if you are bio-major, you will know (gene) knock-out, knock-down.

看起来没问题，我可以放心吃我香喷喷的玫瑰酱了。只是还是很诧异，这KNOCKOUT
ROSE怎么有这么强的生命力。
