I have a few questions regarding RFE medical exam. I've done it back in 2012
and got RFE last Friday for update. Please help. Thank you!!
1) My 2012 TB skin test was negative. For whatever reason I had positive
reaction on TB skin test this time but my chest x-ray was negetive. The
civil surgeon insisted on marking "Class B, Latent TB Infection" no matter
what I said to him. I told him I had BCG vaccine because I was born overseas
. And I showed him the definition of "Class B, Latent TB Infection" by CDC.
It says someone who has positive TB skin test and a history of recent
arrival (within the last 5 years) in the US. I told him since I had been in
the US for more than 10 years I shouldn't be consider "Class B, Latent TB
Infection". But he refused to listen. Sigh! Would that cause any problems?
2) I thought USCIS required a copy of the chest x-ray but he said no. Is
that true?
3) I had my last Td vaccine in 2006. He asked me to do a Tdap this time and
marked "Applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver(s) as indicated above"
due to "Insufficient Time Interval". I thought it should be marked "Vaccine
history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met". But he said I didn
't complete the series. Would this cause any problem?
I really hate this Dr. Bugg. I think he was being a real pest!!!

1. 和我情况一样，严格来讲应该不是class b condition. 我那个医生也坚持说是，没
办法。好在只要x-ray正常就不影响绿卡，当时他在note 里写了无需治疗。
2. 他是对的。最新的要求不需要附X-ray report. 你可以网上搜到指南文件。
3. 我没你这种情况，但我当时仔细读了网上的说明文件，to my best knowledge, 感
觉你医生是对的。
我的已经批准了。

3. 没问题。移民局不要求完成所有的疫苗系列，因为那会造成申请人等几个月才能交
表。在移民医生那里打了第一针就行。

I don't remember how many shots I had. But in your particular case I think
your physician did it right. You can find a training PPT/instruction for
civil surgeons on Internet that explains what should be checked here.

I think you are correct. Thank you! I am still trying to argue with the
civil surgeon about the Latent TB. I talked to his supervisor and requested
another civil surgeon to review my paperwork. I told them that I am a paying
customer and I am not happy. I am very concerned about the accuracy of my
medical exam. Another civil surgeon called me last night and I told him
about the TB technical instructions for civil surgeons on CDC website. He
researched it and said he understood my point of view. He informed me that
he was going to discuss with his colleagues about it and give me an answer
ASAP.

Good luck! My physician was so stubborn and didn't listen to me. Since it
doesn't cause any problem to green card, i dont want to waste my time

Thank you! His name is Dr. Bugg, very stubborn and condescending. I think I
need to spray pesticide on him!!!

chinese dr from chinatown might be a better option.
I went to a white physical first. my TB test was positive of course because
i had vaccine when I was in china. I explained to me. He won't listen and
insist that I have treatment. I then found a chinese dr in chinatown.
Cheaper, and fast turnaround (I got my results in two days).

any Chinese surgeon in your areas. They don't have to be in Chinatown. I
live in Chicago, so there are many drs in chinatown

Where do you live. I can't imagine no chinese dr. Even if you have to drive
one or two hours, it might still worth it.

Driving 1-2 hours is not feasible. You have to go back for the TB test after
48-72 hours! You are lucky to live in Chicago!

不要担心，class b 也是clear for immigration. 只要医生不推荐吃药就没事。估计
移民局的也知道中国人咋回事，据说医院实习医生都懂中国人打疫苗了。

I don't live in an area where there are many Chinese immigrants at all.
Another civil surgeon reviewed my paper work and said I should be marked as
latent TB b/c my reading was 20mm regardless of time of arrival in the US.
He said my INS medical should be OK since chest X-ray was negative and no
treatment was required. Fine! I am done with this BS, whatever!

u can provide blood work or just an x ray, it should suffice.
My civil surgeon gave me the two option. I chose x ray , because they was
able to do my x ray and get the result same day. Blood work takes time to
process.

楼主的X-ray 正常，绿卡也没问题，她只是不爽这个class b. :-)
