It is certainly too long and should not be "flattering".
If you are in the US, see a writing tutor and let him/her
make a critique; if you are in China, find a native speaker
and ask what he/she thinks. Keep in mind it does not matter
what makes u feel good, what matters is how the readers
(and they are very intelligent people) react from your
PS.
