申请了秋季的PhD，刚收到一个学校的email，邀请偶去参加on-campus interview．现在
偶是一头雾水，不知道这种on-campus interview是咋样的？希望有经验的大虾们给说说
，这样的interview一般都干啥？是formal，还是casual？应该提前做点啥准备不？...

费用谁承担？

一般费用是由对方学校出,包括来回的机票(Amtrak),吃住,一般人比较多,
这种interview相当于rotation,和教授相互选择,不需要太正式,也没有什么需要
准备的,到网上看看有那些教授什么的做些什么大概课题就行了.

i just went to another univeristry for an on-site inverview. we had 20 people
together for that program recruiting, and we were assigned to talk with 5 or 6
different professors, each has different research field. all the expenditure
would be reimbursed by the program afterwards.
maybe u r right, by this kind of talk, the professor might have a roughly idea
which student he really feels like to recruit, and vice versa.

那你们所有20个人的interview是都安排在同时吗(1-2天之内)?
你被分配和哪些professor谈话是由谁决定的呢? 另外，谈话的主要内容是什么呢? 是主
要问你professional questions/research experience；还是就随便聊聊，看看英语水平
？你说＂all the expenditure would be reimbursed by the program＂是包括吃，住，
行所有的吗？
